Hi guys, since nobody has share their experience, i will share that happen to me last few months =) This is actually my 2nd test drive, I went to this Ford dealer. Persada in Puchong. I was about to put booking but my mom and I ask to really test drive car again for the last time. When ask the salesman to test drive car, his face started to look different. He began to be rude and ask "So How?" "So How?" like forcing me and my mom to pay booking of RM500. I was not happy because the salesman didn't let me drive for long and cannot properly test and always ask "So How?" and ask for booking and i feel like very pushy. When reached back after test drive, the salesman only know to ask for booking and ask my mom to buy this and add that. I feel this sales man is so damn unprofessional and only care about his comission. He keep on pushing my mom and I for booking until we reject him and left to look for another showroom. The car is nice but the salesman made me have a different view after. This is just sharing and hope you don't go through same thing like me and protect yourself. I think salemans there need to learn to respect and not comission comission comission...

just find another sales man la....still have alot out there....can even give better offer, discount. Advise to find few salesman even for same car, the will give your best offer if they know have competitor Smile

The service that I got from Persada is superb. Booked on 5th November 2010 (Deepavali Day) and got the car by 27 November 2010 (4 weeks waiting time).

Salesperson is Jayden. Overall, a friendly and helpful person who is willing to entertain my late evening calls (i.e. after 7pm). Even the whole month after getting my car, he is still willing to help me with any issues (had one case of having my rear seatbelt jammed because a friend tugged too hard but was solved by pulling the seatbelt till the max to unjam it).

Timeline:
Wk01: Placed booking
Wk02: Got call from bank to arrange for loan
Wk03: Signed loan agreement with bank, Jayden helped to register plate with JPJ
Wk04: Received car

Even got an SMS greeting from him on 2nd day of Chinese New Year last month.

Maybe I should also post a thread on my experience because not all staff at PA is bad. Just that some bad apples spoil the name. After all, bad news easily gets spread far and wide but good news tend to go unnoticed or not highlighted at all.

In contrary to your experience, this guy sucks big time. Cronology of events as follow:
1. booked car during fiesta drive in october 2010 - paid RM1k. no color decided yet. managed to nego V-Kool tinting. SA supposed to call and arrange for my old car to view and evaluate for trade in
2. waited for over a month... no feedback at all. didnt even receive one single call
3. suddenly bank called and ask for details for loan. wtf, i didnt say which bank i want to go in with loan and SA should have asked and advise which bank i prefer. still at this point no call from SA. decided to call SA and arrange for car to view for trade in.
4. again, SA remain to be quiet. no feedback. suddenly told me car already arrive but i have not finalise which color i want. Said no and wait for next batch
5. I wanted to do a number interchange. So SA advise that he will take my old car for inspection. Charged RM700 for a less than RM200 inspection. Best part, when inspection time, where he was supposed to collect the car from me, my wife had to send it to them instead. On top of that, he was not around to collect the car. simply asked my wife to leave key and grant to someone at his office!!! no courtesy SOB.
6. Sign agreement with bank - again no courtesy from SA to follow. he's just too busy cause he is the owner's son
6. Finally got the car one week before CNY but car got paint defect. stone chips and scratches. didnt accept it and asked SA to fix.
7. V-Kool tint installed is not V-Kool. Verified by V-Kool specialist tint agent. Redo all window tint.

I did file up a complaint to SDAC. Up til now, no feedback from them. Decide for yourself this SA good or not.

I agree with Madon76, This place sucks big big big time in my own experience. The SA is really full of themselves. They only talk big, act big and no results. All they say is they know they know. Screw them big time. I nearly made the mistake of booking with them. All they know in my own opinion is closing the freaking sale. The SA assisting me don't even care to describe the car to me. Before i sat in the car, he is already explaining the purchase portion to me already. If its not the end of the world, dont choose to go there! I am only sharing my experience with you all, and maybe if you buy a car from them yo umay be the lucky one and get normal service. Persada Auto in Puchong Sucks! Not professional and not heart to do business this SA!!!

When I placed my order, I already know what I want. I just clearly specified:
  1. I want Metro Grey.
  2. The loan is to be with Maybank since my savings accounts and housing loan are also there.
  3. My expected delivery is two months at most, i.e. latest by end of Dec'10 (SA quoted 1 month waiting time, which I was initially skeptical of, hence the additional 1 month buffer and also because I wasn't desperate for the car anyway).
  4. I want my car number to be a certain number (or a different combination of that number set if the first choice is not available).


V-Kool tinting I wanted a top end version. So I rather pay for that than having to negotiate and settle for a mid-range or cheap one (which is what most people get if negotiate regardless of car type/brand based on what I read in LYN forum).

Loan agreement I requested for the bank agent to come over to my office during working hours. Don't need SA to be around because:
  1. Loan signing will be done at my office.
  2. Office is in some obscure location in Bkt Raja, so good luck finding it.
  3. Bank will confirm with me when I want to collect my car before releasing the loan payment to PA (the bank called on Wk04 for this purpose).
  4. SA called on Wk03 to inform that my car will arrive and be available for collection on Wk04 (received call again on early Wk04 confirming that car has arrived and can be collected anytime).


Basically what I want relating to the car (color, bank of choice, delivery time) has been specified clearcut upfront and in exchange for not pushing too much on freebies (just additional cheap rubber floormats to protect the stock mats from shoemud and rainwater on wet days. I don't need umbrellas or keychains since I have lots of them at home from doorgifts at various functions/events) and providing some flexibility/understanding/good faith on my end, I have set some expectations that I want to be met. In the end, I'm happy that I got:
  1. Prompt regular updates (e.g. he was unable to obtain my first choice car number at JPJ and called immediately to confirm if I am okay with his suggested number using the same combination set, which I was able to get).
  2. Things that he needs to do at his end was done to my satisfaction (i.e. V-Kool tinting confirmed, car delivered in good condition as per checklist downloaded from Ford Malaysia's FB site, giving a call even if it's 8pm just to make arrangements, entertaining my calls even if it's after 7pm).


Hence, my impression is a good service that goes beyond the norm received before and after getting my car.

I heard of the Name Jayden, he is the Bosses son. Heard a lot of stories about this SA. Con man place I suppose. Big boss is Con Man. He is the Con Man Junior!

I think out of 10 Deals, 9 customers will be conned!!!

is Persada Auto under Sime Darby Motor Division's jurisdiction? is there effect, reporting Persada's issue to Sime Darby?
i thought they (Persada Auto/ SDAC/etc.) just the authorised dealers for Ford.

From what i know is this Persada Auto is dealing with other cars also, they deal with Mazda and Toyota Etc. And their warehouse is in Old Klang Road. They are also a used car dealer using a different name "Wheelcorp" I see they are using another name to do our business as well. So beware of Persada Auto!

They cannot use the Wheelcorp name since it deals with various car makes besides Ford (i.e. Honda, Toyota, etc). Persada Auto is registered as an authorised Ford dealer and can only sell Ford models but will borrow Wheelcorp's space to keep the cars. What's there to beware? They also admit that they have another showroom that sells Mazda cars and is registered under another name (as an authorised Mazda dealer).

You can choose to collect your car at Wheelcorp, or as SA to deliver the car to PA for you to collect. I opt to collect directly from Wheelcorp to minimize possibility of damage in transit.

Beware of Persada Lor... Look.. Got so many people kena subjected to Persada's unethical way of dealing and practices already. I mean one or two ok lah, but look for yourself, so so many, too much already, not only me complain... Are you a Persada Salesman? Rolling Eyes

I have already been in possession of the car since end of November 2010 with no problems in the communication and delivery process. If I had any problems with PA, I would have voiced it out as well.

I just did my research and covered all angles well to ensure that I don't get the short end of the stick.

Hello friends, I'd like to add that this place called Persada Auto has once cheated my money as well. This was a while back but the case has already been resolved. There are indeed many Showrooms, Dealers & Salesman out there. My advice is for you to choose the right place before placing your deposit. Just sit in the showroom quietly and see how things work aorund there. See how the salesman serve the customers and judge for yourself. Im standing on a neutral point and hope that no one goes through the same senario like I went through and got cheated. My advice is if you want to purchase a Ford, you might as well get it other than this Persada Auto from my own experiencing. No offense to whoever have recieved other forms of treatment from them.

i am the one who cancel my booking from PA. he told me to wrote a letter and i only entitle to get rm800. rm200 is consider miscellanous cost (wtf). today he ask me to amend my letter just becoz wrong attn. he said i am not supposed to put the name but only Manager. they r suck. i can see they try to delay my refund. better u get direct to SDAC. i already consult with SDAC jln ipoh. SA sana told me what to do with them. if u amik dgn SDAC - service mmg senang dgn diorg.other than jln ipoh & pj is only autorized dealer. SDAC told me that is why puchong can do anything to the customer.

after few hours made payment i cancel my booking. after i realize been cheated by them i call SDAC jln ipoh for explanation. he told me buyers should buy from SDAC branch becoz after sale what ever it is under their responsiblity. if we buy from authorized dealer - they let u alone when anything happen to u car.

1 more thing - when i submit my cancellation letter - this SA told me that - he got one customer who cancel the booking too. but he not satisfy coz he got rm800 for refund & he brought this case to tribunal pengguna. finally he lose the case and PA pay him after 3 month. * just a signal from him not to make any confrontation wit them. now - i just layan what he want me to do coz if i create any fuss - it will delayed anything.

I bought my car from Persada too, booking on early Nov to collect my car on 31st Dec no issue at all. Unfair to put all the fault to Persada we must look at our ownself as well. U are only telling one side of ur story and no defence/clarifications from Persada. Freedom of speech and expression, don't ever ask whether I am a share holder of Persada..otherwise u will get Fcxx from me

ur rite choong. for me - i dont like to create cheap publicity about this. this is about the right of consumer. as a consumer we have right to say and take a proper action based on the legal provided to us. i believe fchan is a lucky customer who deal with persada. as i read earlier from 10 customer - 9 potentially to get conned. there is nothing wrong with the company but the attitude 1-2 SA give bad repo to the whole company.

i had test drive fiesta at trio mantap kajang. SA who entertain me is very nice. he clearly explain to me about the fiesta spec and offered me to test drive. he also straight forward tell me what he can deal for me. he also asked me to go to mazda for comparison. if i ready to buy the car - just let them know. he never insist & persuade me with anything compare to SA from puchong.

Choong and Fadzilah I so agree, I dont think its fair to put the blame on SDAC, i think its this Persada for creating and digging its own grave. Its funny tho, for some funny feeling, i feel that theres a SALESMAN inside here trying to save his .. If theres a SALESMAN in here trying to write good about your Persada. I got two words for you. GET LOST! We are seeing the end of Persada Auto here!
