Burning Exhaust Smell in Cabin on Hard Acceleration
Dear all fellow members,
Anyone experiencing this? I noticed when I've gotten my car told SC but they said car still in burning in state, that's why.
Now at 8k mileage, smell still persist. SC has no idea what's wronf, anyone has the same experience?
Usually the smell will occur on hard acceleration or high speed when RPM reaches 3k and above.

Did you close the air cond vent?
So far didn't experience anything like that. I have revved my car up to 5k-6k occasionally but it is still okay.

I experienced the same with my car. ODO clocked at 28k km. Yes it is after hard accel. Probably due to leaked air cond hose. This is quite ordinary for me as my other car also have the same problem.

Bro.. I suggest you ask SDAC to have a proper check into you air ventilation which might be not well sealed, air-cond area whereby the outside air can ram inside and finally you firewall area, perhaps some holes for wiring didn't covered well
If the 3 above done, still have problem do share out cause there might be other issue adi, I won't share for this so sorry

Air cond vent closed. Sent it in for service and check up. Let's see if they can figure out what's the problem.
Sigh..

I believed the smell will only come, when the car engine/parts is still new and under running. I experience the same, while accelerate before first service.
Now it no more smell, as just tried last weekend while driving from KL - Lumut....accelerate a lot , no burning smell

Me too... I have exactly the same problem here, my car just 700km+ and the smell really make me feel uncomfortable... Like driving a problematic car...
Hope this problem can solve after running...

Re: Burning Exhaust Smell in Cabin on Hard Acceleration
Guys, don't worry about the smell too much. I don't smell anything odd in the cabin now even under WOT to redline for few times, and my car is almost 2 month old @ 3500KM mileage. So, just drive!
cheers
