2 weeks old FoFI cant start...help helppp

Hello guys,

My car (wifey's car) is around 2 weeks old, mileage about 700km. This morning cannot start. Not the battery, I think it is the injector/fuel pump by the sound of it. Really scary sound likes the engine gonna fall off..

Just to share, my previous and current cars include Kelisa, Vios and a Civic FD2. Of all these, I think Vios is the one giving me the most peace of mind - no problem at all even after 5 years.. Kelisa is next. Civic, well, so far ok with minor2 issues, but overall the car is good. Honda Service is ok at least. Looks like FoFi gonna join the list..so sad...haiyoooo. So early giving me problem already kaaaa....Terrible terrible. Not even 1000 km yet. But bulan puasa, so saya pun sabarlah. What to do right...


Looking at the stories here, it seems like it is gonna be a long day/week? for me dealing with SDAC. I will share the story later on their efficiency.

By the way, I live in Kajang. What is the nearest Ford Service Centre? I bought from SDAC PJ, I can just send go back there but just for future reference.

I've experience a Ford petrol pump issue, yes very troublesome.. I order my part for Mazda/Ford Singapore..

is it really from the pump? my car (fofi sedan 1.6, 2010 batch) has the same problem also, cannot start tiba2, so annoying. i'm gonna call SDAC PJ la tomorrow, has been there one week maa, but still no call from them...

Pullmann - you mean you ordered it yourself? or through Ford Malaysia/SDAC?

MaiLL - you tried to call them before tapi tak dapat? or just leave it for a week? One week lama tu...susah la macam ni.

Will see how it goes today. I am very dissappointed with the car now, although not really my car, its my wife's. Tapi in the end, menyusahkan aku jugak la.. . To those who have a good fiesta, lucky you and I do pray you wont have problem like me. Hopefully it is just 1 in a million case lah.

Maybe will pay SDAC people a visit or email to demand explanation. Yes all cars have defect, but this is a 2 weeks old car, something must have gone wrong during assembly, etc. and from what I see in Fiesta FB Group and here, this is not an isolated case.
