Engine Check light indicator

This happened one day morning. Not immediately aware, until leaving housing area; where the RPM limit to 2000 noted. however, ignoring the issue, restart in the afternoon, no more check engine indicator.

mentioned this during service, but because its not happened that time, nothing for them.

several days later, same thing happened. this time i switch off, and fix (as if i know something) the 4 plug heads, assuming they not tight. restart, and no more check engine light.

what the heck happened?!

They know a fault code is recorded in the ECU whenever the CEL is on, right? They can easily check by plugging into the OBD2 port

this morning, similar thing happened again. My wife said this also happened yesterday evening.

So this morning the "check engine" indicator ON. and again, i switched off engine, meddle the 4 plug heads, and restart. Nope, not fixing the issue this time. Try again 2 3 times, and now i can see, the fuel meter not raised to the correct mark; where it should show more than half tank, but this time it stop at about 15% only.
Good, now maybe it safe to assume its not engine's problem, but rather electronic issues. try again; now "Check engine" light off; but fuel indicator showing almost empty.

so be it. That's better because I'd rather drive faster (without the 2000RPM limit) and ignoring that fake fuel indicator.

I'm forced to send my car to SC due to battery failure. as the ford website mentioned, 100k KM or 3 years, battery replacement for failure. good, I'm only at 38k KM despite have been using it since January 2011.

3 issues reported:
1) battery failure. jump started to go to SC. ===> SC check status & replace it.
2 & 3) check engine light & fuel indicator fail. ===> meter reset still failed. have to replace the whole set. SC have no stock for Fofi Sedan, have to order.

for me, as long as CEL not lit, i don't really care. the fuel indicator can sometimes be right. crazy meter.

Haha I'm following if it makes you feel better. Do update us on what caused the CEL
