Petronas Fuel Up Challenge Empty Petronas Fuel Up Challenge

Post by Dias 2011-04-09, 8:59 am

We’ve just heard word that there will be an interesting activity happening at Petronas stations in conjunction with new Petronas fuel formula that’s set to be launched this weekend on the 10th of April 2011.

There will basically be a “Fuel Up Challenge” happening between 5.30pm to 8.30pm on April 10, which is this Sunday. What you have to do is pick a certain amount of fuel that you will try to attempt to fill up. This may be a choice of 3 different amounts like RM20, RM50 or RM70 – we don’t have the exact details yet.

You will have to pump in the new Petronas fuel into your car manually to the exact amount that you’ve chosen. If you go over by even 1 sen, you lose the challenge. You’ll win something if you hit your target. Prizes will be announced closer to the challenge date, so keep an eye out for the announcement.

Anyone want to try out this new fuel? It claims to use a different additive mix. Can't use it yet since my car is close to full tank and I'm still on my FFCP run using Esso.

The challenge is not impossible but will definitely be hard to get an accurate hit. Only once I got spot on at RM50.00 in my life. The rest are all very close ranging from RM50.02 to RM50.07
