so far only at the steering column found minor rusty but after read forums most also facing the same issues... confused

i'm from Terengganu. i called SC and he said they will spray with anti-rust.

one more question, is it always steering locked?

Any one with a rust problem with their Fofi, just send it to your nearest SC and they should be able to help you with it.

@maggie1711 : yup, after turning on your engine, the steering will be locked. The steering will unlock once you turn on the engine.

but i cannot turn on the ignition when steering locked. this evening it takes me about 10 min to start the engine..(have to call someone to unlock) rasa nak nangis!

Your steering column might be a lil' stuck. The next time it happens, try turning your steering wheel either way (put some force into it) and turn your ignition at the same time. And or jiggle your steering could work too.

It happens to all cars sometimes. Nothing major to worry about. Wink

Anyone have the shaft sound like "Krog Krooogg" during max steering either left or right?

I believe that the picture that Maggie has posted is not of her own car. She's just referencing that the rust is the same as the picture above.

I have this problem. Got slow 'kreuk kreuk' sound whenever i pull the steering left or right. When i had the first 10k service, my wife address the issue to the SC. All they did is 'dah ketatkan dah'. I dunno whether it got loose part or not but so far the problem has been fixed.

Just few days ago I bend down to take a look at the exhaust and notice rust on the metal part that is tied to the exhaust pipes. It looked pretty bad but I can't recall if it is the same part as shown in Maggie's photo. I plan to bring it to SDAC soon, I don't expect to see rusty part on a 1month old car, even though it was built 8 months ago.
