Engine Oil
may i know what engine oil you are using, if different as supplied by Ford Service Centres.
please state the viscosity used and your comments regards engine performance and fuel consumption.

Since most of us havent finished our free maintenance (i doubt anyone clocked 60k km yet), i think everyone still using castrol 5w-30 supplied by SCs.
That being said after i finished my free maintenance, i will be switching to Mobil 1 5w-50. Since i can get it cheap....haha.

Hey Cossie,
As i aware different SC provide different oil, I done my service at one SC... Damn their oild are in 5 litres packing size, hrmmm meanwhile some SC used 4 x 1L packing... The 5L got no brand so sad,, just claims to be original Castrol as they bought in BULK quantity

off the record, the castrol edge 40 weight old feels heavy for the engine.
