Fiesta transmission rattle

i'm sorry to hear bout ur Fiesta... so how ur ride now? waiting for parts?

aku_kurt, u also scare me off.. i was planing to buy the fofi sedan.. any sedan user here having problem?

aiya.. dont be scared laa brader.... not my intention to scare u guys.. later everybody here tiau me maa.. hehe .. i am really enjoying my car actually.. more pros than cons .. maybe u wont have the same experience .. some more the new batch should be better.. coz after so many complains they must have taken some action right...

yala bro thanxx.. this saturday am going to SC to collect my baby .. still have to wait for the steering rack though .. maybe next service they will change that...

oledi taken my baby from SC... so far everything is ok... just for the humming sound whenever i turn left.. specially wif speed... could this be the disc break?? Any help guys??

ps: I oso suka² test drove the mondeo.. hmm... if only i got the money...

last week go to SC p.j...talk direct to pomen about gearbox...pomen said 1st to 2nd gear noise sound is normal...but if got sound 3rd 4th 5th gear...better go check....

bro sfunglee.. waa. corner kau² takut maa... not so pandai wif auto.. manual at least ok laa ...

it is normal sound for first and second gear if you are at cruising speed or press slight gas pedal. That sound is machine helping changing the gear with variable clutch for smooth operation when low speed.

aku_kurt, i agree... Also dun u realize Fiesta kick in kinda slow due to dual clutch? A manual CPS will easily cucuk us =(

hehe manual mah.. proton sumore. great pickup but not FC ..

yalah guys.. oso can feel quite slow in 3rd and 4th... but i think in highway 140km/h and above our baby sure have no problem... we can accelerate faster coz of more torque.. i think laa.. dunno the cps torque???

No bias... Gonna agree most Japanese car have lightweight ratio to engine acceleration, therefore good pick up! Similiar category car, pickup Japanese always ahead in stock mode

Yes, agree with you aku_kurt..

But speed beyond 120km/h onwards Fiesta still have the torque and easily go 160km/h... What i did during test drive this car before I purchase hahahaa...

By the way, do you know that"there is a RPM CUT-OFF?

Our Fiesta is programmed no to rev over 3000 rpm! In neutral stage, so advantages is protect tranny & heart

Nope.. i dunno that.... u mean in 'N' we cant rev more than 3000 rpm?? I've never tried that... silly me... hahaha..
