Boomy Bass Empty Boomy Bass

Post by klimal 2011-02-27, 11:36 am

I find the bass to be boomy, even with the EQ off and bass set at 0.
The door panels are vibrating with bass heavy tracks.
Anyone done anything about this? please share.
I prefer tight, clean bass, not the overwhelming head banging one note bass.

Perhaps, you can choose to install Sound-Proof.

I installed that on my ex-Gen2, and it only costs me about rm300. The vibration on door panels is reduced reduced to almost 0%. (10%-20% maybe?)

Yes, it is on my list for sound deadening the doors.
RM300 per door or all 4 doors? How thick was the material?
Thus far, the quotes range from 799 (Aeridas-8 pcs) to 600 ( Bug-? pcs)
Not sure how thick as no details given.

or... if ur daring, cut the +ve wire going into your speaker.. solder it on a metal cap capacitor... forgot what value to use.. need to calculate..

using the correct value could filter off the lower frequency..
