Ford suggest me to install earth wire. Would that void my warranty if it is done by ford itself?

1) Changing of Sport Rims - Same size 15"to 15" for SEDAN & 16"to 16", max tyre size allowed 205/45/R16 - No issue, PROVIDED offset not hitting the fender or mudguards area!!!
2) Oversize rims 17" onwards - Warranty on Alligntment (include chamber, toes, arm) will be void, Supension (coil spring, absorber, latch, stabilzer bar) will be void, Brake (caliper, pad, drum, hose) all will be void & cosmetic aka "BREMBO" will also void your from disc brake if the material effect the braking system.
3) Others - No spacer allowed, warranty void also no changing to 5 Lugs system.
4) Rear drum repaint - Allowed
5) Tyres Max Size - 205/45/R16 on 16"Rims
Hi, as mention Max size for 16" Rims is 205/45/R16, what about the Max size fo 15" Rims?
Thanks...
Hi,
Looking at the stock Ford Fiesta Sedan rims, I believe the max size it could fit is 195/55/R15. There should be no increase of wheel diameter, only increase of tyre width. Tho' can anyone tell what is the biggest offset you can get out of a 15" wheel without the tyres scrubbing the fender/wheel arch?
While we are at the issue of warranty, is it possible for non-fog light versions (Sedan, 1.4) to install fog lights without voiding warranty?

Re: Ford Fiesta Warranty Cautions... VOID?!
Guys, just asking, is the front brake disk covered on warranty as well? if so, want to change a new disk. coz, I've been having problem with them. SDAC said the disk surface is not "rata". Had the problem since getting my fofi in first place. send to SDAC and they kept skimming the disk. been 3 times already.

Dude, meaning adding catback exhaust=void also?sfunglee wrote:Sorry, went off meeting till6pm KNS...
Home still tak boleh log in think my anti-virus firewall bla bla...
Well more to add:
Others item that void:
1) Changing new horn ( Hella / PIAA / FIAMM ) with added relay [which tap from battery termminal] also void your warranty including 1st year warranty on ur MF-Battery
2) Adding / changing car alarm system or anti-theft / GPS tarcking will also void your centre locking & alarm system warranty
3) Rear LEFT Fog-light which drawn 21W also void your lighting & electronics warranty... Be careful for those who install, you can remove the wiring if there anything wrong before send for claims otherwise SUSAH man!!!
4) Exhaust - you can add on tail but after the rear muffler pipping area only
5) Suspension - not the time to upgrade either, remain ori if you want to claims for free parts in future...

Yes, you should be entitled to a disc replacement. Just tell them and demand for it. If they tell you to do another Disc Skim, tell them it has been the 3rd time and you want a replacement and would not tolerate anything less.Jylova.93 wrote:Guys, just asking, is the front brake disk covered on warranty as well? if so, want to change a new disk. coz, I've been having problem with them. The practice as I know on disc replacement is,
1. First time your disc is warped, they will skim it.
2. 2nd time it occurs, within 5,000kms after skimming, they are suppose to replace it.
This is told to me by the service advisor. Hope you don't back down and get it replaced.

If battery faulty, we just can change once or unlimited between 3 years or 100,000km ?
