e-manage/piggyback
Guys, anyone got install this in your ride? I need to know more about this emanage from end user beside those tuning shop. So far I heard that it will actually increase the car performance 5-10% depending on the mapping they are going to map for your car.
So my question what is the pros and cons if I install this. I'm looking at greedy or unichip brand.
Hope you guys over here can share your thoughts

Re: e-manage/piggyback
Many old member in Ford used UNICHIP, easy to install just PnP as they have noticeable improvement in terms of responsive & kick in...
Preferable to upgrade the after market later before u upgrade to Unichip, in other way as you car still original stage do the dyno test... Upgrade to Unichip re-do Dyno, and upgrade to new air-filter like Pipercross, K&N or etc u can feel mush improvement!

Dear all,
I'm actually the official dealer for Superchips Bluefin in Malaysia. I will be joining FCM as the official merchant as discussed with Jason Lim by next month.
I am pleased to inform you all that Superchips Bluefin do offer ECU remapping for our beloved Fiesta. Aside from that, we also have the Sprintbooster and will be bringing in Milltek exhaust systems later on. Unleash your Fiesta to its full potential and feel the difference!
Call me if you should need further info. Bryan @ 0178811960

Re: e-manage/piggyback
Do not worry about the warranty guys. I am driving a fiesta myself and I wouldn't want my warranty to be void too. It is a plug and play thing whereby we will install/program it for you. You can easily remove or revert back to factory setting at the comfort of your own porch.

Re: e-manage/piggyback
Just some tips, changing ur ECU will void you 3 years engine warranty do called SDAC for references... If anything happened on gearbox, and they find out that the ECU can't map with the dual clutch gear box... There you go~

Re: e-manage/piggyback
Hi Aaronsim,
The dyno test result will be ready by end of this month so therefore we will see the actual results together. Maybe we can meet up sometime second week of October. I think you would need to contact Jason to get more info about the membership. It's a privilege card that FCM just started for members to enjoy discounts from all official merchants. Kindly contact our brother Jason for further details.
Hi sfunglee,
I agree with you, sfunglee. Changing the ECU will definitely void the warranty. But the good news is, with Bluefin, you do not need to change it. It is a plug and play system whereby you can change it back to factory setting anytime, anywhere. The software comes with the handset unit which you can change it back to factory setting at the comfort of your home.
So if there should be any case of warranty claim, all we need to do is set it back to factory settings before we make the claim.
Regards,
Bryan

Re: e-manage/piggyback
Bryan..
I know it is just plug & play =)
FYI, I have upgrade my other car Mitsubishi Colt to Smart For Four ECU system. Both original from Cycle Carriage Berhad, my e-gear box start jerking and MMC claims that the e-gear on my Colt aren't design same as Smart For Four even both car sharing 80% of the engine components...
I'm not against ur business, but SDAC is looking serious onto this dual-clutch gear box issue... Heard that the dual-clutch gearbox aren't suitable for tropical country, so many issue arrise especially leaking...
To othes... just my 2 cents advice, this gear box NOT CHEAP!!! Dun spoiled ur warrnaty, wait for 3 years... I'm itchy too

Re: e-manage/piggyback
Also if as the car owner, u have ur freedom... If u keep making ur Fiesta to do gearbox & engine ECU re-mapping at SDAC (plug & play only)...
So how many times u wanna stay in SDAC for the free claims? I dun think this is fun lol...
Think wisely, later as u travel, ur car break down den really hard... When tow back for repair must swap back to ori ECU... What the point???

Re: e-manage/piggyback
Hi sfunglee,
I respect your point, bro. This is entirely a decision for the respective owners.
But I would just like to add that Superchips Bluefin is one of the top and established ECU tuners and I assure all the users of it's reliability. The Bluefin software is meant for the Fiesta. No harm should come to your car.
Cheers!
