Air Intake
today i juz open front bumper to see how fiesta air intake look like. i found actually there is no fresh air come from outside. fiesta front grille is dummy n actually i think that is the gd place to cut hole n let the fresh air flow to air filter pipe. i going to make custom bodykit n make some modification on grille to make my fiesta breath more air!

Re: Air Intake
Interesting, keep us posted on the progress. On the other hand, simple drop in performance filters like K&N for those not wanting to cut their Fiesta up is not in the market yet it seems

actually mine idea to cut a hole is make fresh air flow into the filter box. high performance drop-in air filter such as k&n is make better air flow past the filter. if just drop in a k&n , is still no fresh air flow into filter box. better combo is k&n + fresh air intake.
sorry, due to my new outlet starting next month, so i gt no times to modified. i will getting free in nx 2 week. so modding will done that time. n sure i will post some photo about b4 n after. thx for interesting in my thread.

Re: Air Intake
Anyone have a schematic of the air intake system?
I can see exactly where the intake is.
Need to remove the grill to have a good look, but afraid of breaking the clips.
I thot the intake opening was where the red circle is, but it is not. The area is closed and I think the intake pipe goes downward.

the intake pipe is start from bumper that sumthing pop out on bumper. inside of bumper, hv no direct air. my idea is cut a hole on the dummy grille to let sum fresh air flow to intake chamber.

K&N Air Filter
Upgraded my air filter for the fiesta today. Changed the current one to a K&N air filter.

Did all these at Kakimotor at Bandar Sunway. Really good price and a really good service.

Re: Air Intake
The car has feels great. It increases the horsepower slightly and the best part of it all is, that it has a lifetime warranty. No need to change your air filter again. Just wash and clean it by yourself if you know how to or send it back to the shop where they can do it for you once you reach every 15000 km
