Re: 1000km check up....
It's voluntary and you'll have to pay for the labor and parts for any services carried out. I skipped 1000 KM since the owner's handbook said service and inspection @ 10k KM. Currently clocking at 8000++ KM...

Re: 1000km check up....
Which trim are you driving? Mine is the 1.6l Sport trim and the steering feel is generally heavy, except when doing 3-point turn which became quite light. I did heard about LX trim had more lighter steering feel, not too sure as i've not try b4. Maybe due to tire width? Sport has 195mm tire width while both LX Sedan and LX Sport has 185mm.

You should try Myvi's and Suzuki Swift's steering.
If you steering is heavier then those cars, then something wrong dy.

Re: 1000km check up....
As far as i concern, FoFi should be lighter than Swift and MyVi (i mean the steering)
Since i driven both cars before, maybe you can try voice this out to another SC other than penchala?

Re: 1000km check up....
Now a day most SC very rely on computer diagnosis, most of them doesn't know the proper diagnose. If your car wasn't fully broke down, they won't take your complain seriously.
My pajero sport once have some problems, always need to argue with those technician. You have to be more understanding your car or else they won't listen to you.

Re: 1000km check up....
Hi, my LX just clock for 1,000km checkup, most probably will go to Cheras SC (nearest) soon.
As I'm aware few owner here opt for first engine oil change at own cost during this checkup instead of waiting for 10,000km free service.
What if i change the engine oil outside SC (let say during 3,000km), may this void the 3 years warranty?
Appreciate your opinion/advise

The minute you take your car to service outside ford SC, your warranty will be void. It's the same to all car makers. You have to take your car for authorized SC and service strictly according to schedule in the service booklet.
