Reverse Sensor Problems

Hi there, any FoFi sedan drivers experiencing intermittent reverse sensor problems? - sometimes random beeping, and sometimes just flat consistent beeeeepp the moment engage R gear (without anything behind the car).

I've checked and cleaned the reverse sensor area on the bumper, but still the same. I notice it only happens after heavy rain/heavy condensation the night before! The problem usually clears up by the next day evening.

I've changed my reverse sensors twice already at SDAC (Jln Ipoh) - once before I even collected the car when new, and another time (replaced just the controller module) during 1000km service. Problem starting again after 3000+KM

maybe the sensor too sensitive? i donno if you can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor like other proximity sensor.

Right after I splashed water on my 1 month old Fiesta this morning, the sensor beeps non-stop while the car is on Reverse gear. I thought it might be the water. If it is really the water, I assume it will be the same while there's rain. Is that a defect then?

Yeah I will raise this when I go to see them, however I washed my car this morning and of course dry the car after it and did not have problem with the sensor so I think most likely the sensors are just water sensitive. Question now is whether this happens to all other cars too?

I've just got my 1 month ago, and I've got the same exact problem, it happens straight after I wash my car and the reverse sensor will not beep, but will sound non-stop. It clears up after it dries up.
