Hi,
Will it be ok to drive in grade assist mode for long period of time rather than on and off when needed. Example road in hill climbing like Cameron Highland or Genting.

Many Thanks

I find the mode works like OD in conventional auto transmission. Don't see a problem in switching it off for a long time while going down hill. But i on it back when on flat surface or less steep roads to save fuel n let the car coast down by itself. The gearbox managed to decide which gear to shift depending on the grade assist mode on/off. At least that's what i've experienced. Btw, i also on this mode whenever i attempt to pass another car while cruising on highway.
