There are a few. I'm a sedan owner as well. But sedan owners tend to be a quiet lot. Guess we don't have much issues to talk about nor are we that much into mods and stuff (different demographic segment?). So far the very few sedans that I come across are all stock.

Last week left the office at 11:50pm on Tuesday night, 11:10pm on Wednesday night and 10:30pm on Friday night. As the roads were empty along Federal Highway (Klang side), LKSA and Hicom area, casually drove all the way home with the engine mostly around 2.5k RPM range. The wonders if does to your FC.

Car model: 1.6L Sedan
Distance traveled = 521.9km (15.896 km per liter)
Fuel consumed = 32.832 ltr (6.291 liter per 100km)

Interesting software. I still prefer using MS Excel since I can code the formulas and presentation format to the way I want. I'd like to use MS Access since I can design and generate PDF reports out of it but my MS Access skills are still on an extremely basic level.

Don't step on the accelerator too hard and always keep at least 1.5 cars distance between you and the car in front to enable slow gradual acceleration.

Fren,

I was having same problem at first. You really have to practice on the pressing part. Just for your info it is possible to accelerate from 1st gear to 2nd gear at as low as 2000 RPM.

Try harder to practice it, u can make it ^^ Laughing

My normal acceleration RPM is within the 2200 - 2500 range. 2000 RPM is only if I am driving at an extremely leisurely pace (no urge to accelerate harder).

Finally finished with testing out Esso. Filled up with Shell 95 Fuelsave this morning with around 5.6 liters remaining prior to refueling. Now it's 5 months of using Shell which should take me till around Jan'12 next year. Acceleration feels a bit "different" compared to Esso but I'll hold my verdict until I do more uphill climbs and more refills (to dilute the Esso fuel till neglible levels).

I'm getting 450km per tank. I'm hoping to get 480km in the near future. Smile

When the warning light comes on, you have around 7 litres (rough estimate) of petrol remaining. So you need to discount that amount from your calculations if you drive up till the point the fuel warning light comes on.
