Re: Sierra Glow vs PPS
my friend who is a technician from AutoMagic Car grooming experts. He said Sierra Glow is better than PPS. But he cautions the people to be sure of the warranty and maintainances : )

Hi guys, no answer if SG will affect the sticker. Maybe you have to ask Mr. Choong himself. They have a website that you guys can try looking up. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Re: Sierra Glow vs PPS
Check my fren coating just like a hard glue layer... WoW I feel not really worth for our $$$ also not stone chip protection... My fren did on his Type-R Civic... Damn less than 2 month all chip scratch his hood & front bumper... Back to the shop, they tell him not to tailgate the dirty lorry...
WTF, my fren say he was driving den lorry in front went thru bumpy road and the fine sand/stone chip come out so can't blame him.. After long argue, the repair for him for free since his Type-R is under "Hypertune"project... Really junk up!
If like this i rather go for 3M Shield only cost RM2000 for the front part but 5 years warranty!!!!!

Re: Sierra Glow vs PPS
3M Shield in a plastic layer stick on to ur bonet, bumper & fender...
Bonet about RM1.3k Bumper about RM600 and fender around RM900...
I can got it cheaper for only one car, other remain the same...
Think back deeply, RM2k can repair ur car to the color you wanted indeed upgrade body kit...
I'm just a poor man btw...

Re: Sierra Glow vs PPS
I have done Sierra Glow with Choong about a few days after taking possesion of the car and I must say I am impressed with the quality of the product. Despite going through all kinds of dusty road, the car somehow manage to still retain its shine and glow.
If you look close enough, you can see the dust but from a distance, the car is still shining. The washing is also easy and the water bead formed will let you know that your car's paint is protected.
Just yesterday, I had bird poo on the car bonnet - it must have been there for close to 1/2 a day. All I had to do was to put a wet tissue on it and once it is soft, I wash it with water - it came off so easily.

Hey everyone. Just thought I'd update that I was quoted RM550 for a job on my new FoFi, white in color. I've already set an appointment with Mr. Choong for a session this Saturday but the thing is it's too faaaarr!

Don't bother and save your money.
I have a white fofi too and the treatment does not last long.
In the end it still needs regular waxing every couple of months and a light polish every 6 months to remove the grime and stains.
There is no easy way out.

Re: Sierra Glow vs PPS
Really? But I've read so many positive reviews? Anyhow, is it true that our cars already have a coating already? I might postpone coating until a later date. Want to do tinting first.

Re: Sierra Glow vs PPS
Initial impressions always positive. Pride of ownership and bias towards our hard earned RM being spent.
.
later after 6-9 months, you will see the coating has no effect at all.
It is still back to the basic polish and wax routine.

The basics wash, clay, polish and wax are still the best....use different stages of microfiber cloth and clean our beloved fofi twice a week willl do the work...it shines =D
