Finally, sedan's flaw design, i think.

the air spoiler, not just spoiling the air, but also making (s)pool-ing 'air' (water) on the boot. (sorry, its not rhyme is it? is it boot? or hood? or bonnet? u know where the air spoiler).

resulting in, mosquito larvae... kidding. its just not nice.
refer existing pic in this thread.http://www.fiestaclubmalaysia.com/t54-sedan-reverse-fog-light#779.

if it just me...must me i'm not park on a flat (enough) surface. what to do, it my porch! :sigh:

i think hatchback spoiler do tend to have some water "retainer" at the center if you don't drive your car, the water will just stays there.

seriously... i think if the spoiler retains a bit of water, the best way is to wipe it dry every time u park the car and every time you get to the car...

really? avoid rust? i just ignored, knowing the metallic paint wont be rust unless there's scratch.

ok, i'll wipe. but u see, my porch not long enough to cover the car's length... maybe for kancil only. dem.

rust maybe not laaa if there's no scratch but if u leave the spoiler to let the water dry, it can result to watermark in time and to remove watermark is not easy even if u wash the car. The only way to remove watermark is by polishing the car.

Not really. There are times when it rained heavily on Friday and is left with watermarks and caked dirt by the end of the day. Washed my car with normal car shampoo on Saturday morning and it's all shining new again.

Reverse park is a good idea.. else if really a problem you can always buy a canvas sheet and place over the car? =)

Reverse parked or not, you will still be left with dirt marks that cake up after rainwater evaporates on whichever side that is exposed. Having an automobile cover is the best way for long trips away. Can easily purchased from hypermarts.

Nothing wrong. My father's Nissan Latio is covered with canvas since he doesn't drive it often (i.e. couple times a month only).

Whenever I see people who do this, I think they really love and treasure their car. But my friend also once advised, that if you do that, sometimes you have to purposely leave the canvas at the bottom a little higher up, so people can see the bottom of your car a little bit, enough to know what car is hiding inside the canvas.

Reason....? Well... he said just to make sure people don't think you're hiding some luxurious car like Ferrari or a big BMW underneath it, prevent people to want to plan to steal it...! =P

i think that is not an issue. for my beetle (classic car, used to be my daily drive car) is covered with 2 sheets of canvas and before the canvas touching my car body, i'll place another layer of cloth on the car top so that the canvas won't "eat" up my car painting.

parking your car in the porch doesn't mean you can protect you car to be clean. during heavy rain or dust, all this will just leave harmful stain to your body work.

and yes, i do love my beetle a lot. What a Face

good tips people!
this morning i'm taking my fofi for a 'walk', after a week lepak. i, wow.... dust. what to do? last time before i park under this porch, is after came back from car wash.
i don't have high pressure water. if i flush it with slow water, i'm afraid it will leave the dust flow marks.
i just drive, let 'em fly with the winds. hehe

watermark if formed overtime will be a challenge to remove especially if the watermark is on the glass surface of your windscreen or your lights.

Pooling of water on a sedan's boot is grossly blown out of proportion. Heavy rain earlier and you don't see a "lake" on it. Water will flow off an whatever is left will evaporate.
